DIATHER DebuMax Sodium Butyrate 600 mg 60 capsules

DebuMax as medical food for special dietary use in the form of vegan enteric capsules contains sodium salt of butyric acid in microgranulate form. Butyric acid is produced in the large intestine and absorbed by epithelial cells as an energy source. The use of microgranulation technology and enteric capsules prevents the capsule from dissolving in the acidic environment of the stomach, ensuring gradual release of sodium butyrate throughout the entire length of the small and large intestines.

INDICATIONS

For dietary management in:

irritable bowel syndrome (IBS),

disorders of the gut microbiota,

diarrhoea following antibiotic therapy,

functional gastrointestinal disorders,

nutritional deficiencies, e.g., in diets low in fibre,

 short-chain fatty acid deficiencies,

patients after cancer treatment (including inflammatory bowel conditions post-radiotherapy).

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

The product may contain derivatives of gluten-containing cereals, soy, milk. The product is not intended for parenteral use.

The product must be used under medical supervision, cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition, and is intended for adults and children over 7 years of age.

Hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the ingredients of the preparation. Do not use in individuals with swallowing disorders or if swallowing capsules is difficult.

STORAGE

Store at room temperature, in a dry place, in a closed container, out of reach of small children.
