The test kit should be used within 1 hour after opening the foil pouch. Safety information – warnings regarding the lysis buffer (use the buffer only as recommended; do not swallow; do not immerse the swab in the provided lysis buffer or other liquids before inserting into the nose; avoid contact with skin and eyes; keep out of reach of children and pets before and after use. If the lysis buffer contacts skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice or contact a local medical centre) • If the SARS-CoV-2 test result is positive, COVID-19 infection is suspected. Follow the guidelines of the local State or Territory Department of Health for confirmatory testing if necessary. Seek medical assistance if feeling unwell. • If the Influenza A/B test result is positive: at this stage, influenza A/B infection is suspected.
