Recommended daily dose
The dosage should be adjusted according to the child’s body weight. For every 15 kg of body weight, the recommended amount is 1 Lipophilic Essence (brown) softgel capsule, 1 Hydrophilic Essence (orange) capsule, and 1.4 g (one level mocha spoon) of Complementary Drink Powder. For a body weight of 60 kg, this corresponds to 4 Lipophilic and 4 Hydrophilic capsules and 5.5 g of Complementary Drink Powder, although at this weight our multivitamin products intended for adults may also be considered. We recommend always rounding the amount down, meaning that, for example, at a body weight of 25 kg, the dosage recommended for 15 kg should still be used. If possible, due to the high vitamin and mineral content, it is preferable to take half of the orange Hydrophilic Essence capsules with the second main meal. This may help sensitive children avoid gastrointestinal discomfort. For children whose body weight requires only 1 Hydrophilic capsule, the contents of the capsule may be divided into two portions and dissolved in a strongly flavored liquid or mixed into a cream or similar food.
