Pure Veg DHA is a dietary supplement containing oil from the microalga Schizochytrium sp., which is an excellent source of docosahexaenoic acid. Each Pure Veg DHA capsule contains approx. 60% algae oil including at least 200 mg of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
DHA is an unsaturated fatty acid from the Omega 3 group, essential for the proper functioning of the human body. It is an exogenous acid and therefore must primarily be supplied through diet.
It is an important structural component of all cell membranes and nerves, with high concentrations found especially in the cerebral cortex and the retina of the eye.

Ingredients: Oil from microalga Schizochytrium sp., carrier (modified corn starch), stabilisers (glycerol, carrageenan), high oleic sunflower oil, purified water, humectant (sorbitol), antioxidant (fatty acid esters and ascorbic acid, tocopherol mix), natural flavour, sunflower lecithin, colour (carotenes, ammonia caramel-sulphite).
