Traditional herbal medicinal product used in: symptomatic treatment of mild, spasmodic gastrointestinal complaints, including bloating and flatulence; symptomatic treatment of mild spasmodic complaints associated with menstruation; as an expectorant in coughs associated with colds. Traditional herbal medicinal product for use in specified indications exclusively based on long-standing use.
INGREDIENTS
1 sachet (2 g) contains 2 g Foeniculum vulgare Miller sp. vulgare var. vulgare, fructus (fruit of bitter variety Italian fennel).
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
• Adults: Pour 1 sachet into a glass (250 ml) of boiling water, infuse covered for 15 minutes. Drink 3 times daily 1 glass of freshly prepared infusion.
- The daily dose of the medicine is 4.5-7.5 g.
- For symptomatic treatment of mild, spasmodic gastrointestinal complaints including bloating and flatulence:
• Adolescents over 12 years: Pour 1 sachet into a glass (250 ml) of boiling water, infuse covered for 15 minutes. Drink 3 times daily 1 glass of freshly prepared infusion.
- The daily dose of the medicine is 4.5-7.5 g.
• Children from 4 to 12 years: Pour 1 sachet into a glass (250 ml) of boiling water, infuse covered for 15 minutes. Drink 3 times daily ½ glass of freshly prepared infusion in case of mild and transient symptoms.
- The daily dose of the medicine is 3-5 g.
WARNING
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Italian fennel fruit and its preparations and other plants of the Apiaceae family (formerly Umbelliferae), such as anise, cumin, celery, coriander and dill, or allergy to anethole. Not recommended for use in children under 4 years. Duration of use: The medicine should not be used for longer than 2 weeks. In children from 4 to 12 years, use should not exceed one week. If symptoms persist during use, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
STORAGE
Store in closed containers at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, protected from light, moisture and foreign odours. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
