2 level tablespoons (approx. 5 g) of oak bark are poured with 1 glass (250 ml) of cold water and boiled for 5 minutes. Set aside for 15 minutes and strain. Use the prepared decoction to rinse the mouth and throat. For relief of symptoms related to haemorrhoidal disease: 2 level tablespoons (approx. 5 g) of oak bark are poured with one litre of cold water and boiled for 5 minutes. Set aside for 15 minutes and strain. Use the prepared decoction as a bath additive (one full or partial bath daily, bath duration 20 minutes). For washing the skin and compresses, apply several times daily. Always use freshly prepared decoction. WARNING Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to oak bark. As a bath additive: Do not use on open wounds, large skin damages or infected skin and mucous membrane surfaces. Not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years due to lack of appropriate data. If diarrhoea recurs or blood appears in the stool, consult a doctor. If bleeding from the anus occurs during haemorrhoidal disease treatment, consult a doctor. If symptoms worsen and do not subside during product use or the patient feels worse, or if adverse effects not described on this packaging occur, consult a doctor. During diarrhoea treatment, the medicinal product Oak Bark may delay the absorption of other concurrently used medicines, so it should be taken at least one hour before or after other medicines.
