ProFuel Alpha EAA Amino Acids

Product overview

ProFuel Alpha EAA is a food supplement containing essential amino acids in iced tea peach flavour. The product is supplied as a powder: the description states that it is mixed into a drink, and the pack contains 462 grams. It combines a distinctive flavour profile with a blend of amino acids that the body needs to obtain from the diet. If you are looking for a flavoured option to take to training or use during an active day, it may be a practical addition to your usual meals.

The product is from ProFuel and supplied by Best Nutrition. The source data does not describe the brand's history, country of manufacture or any particular manufacturing philosophy, so we do not attribute unconfirmed properties to the product. Instead, the information provided is specific: an EAA blend containing a total of 10,000 mg of essential amino acids per stated daily dose, with a fruity peach flavour inspired by iced tea.

What makes Alpha EAA interesting is the combination of a complete group of essential amino acids and a flavour that differs from neutral or traditional sports drinks. The blend includes leucine, valine and isoleucine, along with the other essential amino acids. The net weight of 462 grams means you can keep the product at home and follow the pack instructions for use. Always check the label for the full ingredients list, dosage and any specific instructions.

Active ingredients & science

EAA stands for essential amino acids. These are amino acids that the body cannot produce in sufficient quantities itself and therefore needs to obtain from the diet. Alpha EAA contains all nine essential amino acids, including the branched-chain amino acids leucine, valine and isoleucine. The stated total is 10,000 mg per daily dose. The individual amounts are listed in the ingredients table, so here we focus on the blend as a whole.

The amino acids are listed by their specific names, such as L-leucine and L-valine. The source data provides no details about the origin of the raw materials, manufacturing method or specific forms beyond this, and it also contains no information about bioavailability. We therefore make no specific comparisons regarding absorption or effects. This is a food supplement and should be considered an addition to a varied and balanced diet, not a replacement for protein-rich foods or meals.

Benefits & uses

Alpha EAA may fit into a range of practical routines, particularly for those who enjoy a flavoured drink and want a clearly specified amino acid blend. It is not a replacement for food or a guarantee of any particular training result. Think of it as one option among food supplements, with use tailored to your habits and the instructions on the pack.

• As part of a training routine: An option if you want to use an amino acid drink around a training session. Follow the dosage instructions on the pack.
• For those who prefer flavour to neutral products: Iced tea peach offers a fruity alternative to unflavoured amino acid blends.
• Convenient at home or in your gym bag: The powder can be easy to keep to hand when planning your supplements for the day. Check the pack for mixing and storage instructions.
• For active days: If you move between work, study and training, a pre-portioned drink may be a convenient part of your routine, without replacing meals.
• For those who want to compare amino acid content: The product states the total amount of essential amino acids per daily dose, and the separate table shows the distribution of the different amino acids.
• For those who want to vary their flavours: The peach flavour can add variety if you already use other flavoured products or prefer iced tea-inspired drinks.

The product's clear focus may appeal particularly to people who already have a considered diet and training routine. The need for food supplements varies from person to person, so take your diet, preferences and the information on the label into account.

Use & dosage

Follow the dosage instructions on the pack. The source data provides a contents table per daily dose but does not specify the exact amount of powder, volume of liquid or frequency of use. We therefore do not provide our own dosage measurements. For the best guidance, read both the dosage and mixing instructions on the label before use.

The description does not specify a particular time for taking the product or whether it should be taken with or without food. You can plan its use around your daily routine, but follow the instructions on the pack. If you use several food supplements at the same time, it is sensible to check the combined amounts and read each label. Consult a healthcare professional or dietitian if you have a medical condition, take medication or are unsure whether the product is suitable for you.

Food supplements are not intended to replace a varied and balanced diet. Keep the product out of the reach of young children and follow the pack's storage advice after opening.

Quality & manufacturing

The available product information identifies ProFuel as the brand, Best Nutrition as the supplier and the net weight as 462 grams. It also describes the flavour and active amino acids. However, it provides no information about the country of manufacture, specific production standards, certifications, independent purity testing or sustainability practices. We therefore cannot confirm these properties or state that the product has undergone any particular testing.

If you want to assess a product carefully, it is a good idea to read the label and check the full ingredients list, allergen information, best-before date and storage advice. The ingredients summary shows an amino acid blend, but the available text does not reproduce the full list of other ingredients. Check the pack if you need to avoid a particular substance or want to know more about sweeteners, flavourings and other additives.

The clearest quality information available for ProFuel Alpha EAA is therefore its declared amino acid content and stated net weight. For more information about manufacturing and testing, refer to the labelling on the pack you have or contact the retailer.

Who is this product for?

The product may be of interest to adults who train or lead an active lifestyle and want to use a flavoured supplement containing essential amino acids. It may also suit those who prefer to see a specified amino acid breakdown and want peach flavour rather than a neutral option. However, food supplements are not necessary for everyone, and a varied diet is the foundation of nutritional intake.

The available information does not specify a particular age group and does not provide complete advice for children, pregnant women or breastfeeding women. The product should therefore not be recommended for children. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical diagnosis, take medication or have questions about amino acid supplements, consult a healthcare professional before use. Always follow the warnings and instructions on the pack.

The ingredients summary is not sufficient to establish whether the product is free from allergens or suitable for a particular special diet. Check the full ingredients and allergen information on the label, especially if you have an allergy or intolerance or follow a restricted diet. If in doubt, it is best to avoid the product until you have clear information.
