Product overview

Swanson Epic Pro 25-Strain Probiotic is a carefully formulated food supplement in vegetarian capsule form, containing a full 30 billion CFU across 25 different probiotic bacterial strains. Each bottle contains 30 capsules, equivalent to a one-month supply at the recommended dosage. Swanson is a well-regarded American health supplement brand that has been developing high-quality products based on science and strict quality control since 1969. Its philosophy is to offer pure, thoughtfully formulated products suitable for a wide range of people with different dietary needs. The product is entirely vegan, gluten-free and free from genetically modified ingredients, making it a good choice for those with specific dietary preferences or allergies.

Active ingredients & science

The probiotic formula in Swanson Epic Pro consists of 25 carefully selected bacterial strains, each contributing different properties to the gut microbiome. Among the most prominent strains are Lactobacillus acidophilus UALa01™ and Bifidobacterium lactis UABla12™, which together make up a large proportion of the 30 billion CFU per dose. These strains are well known for their ability to survive the acidic environment of the stomach and colonise the intestines effectively. All the bacteria are carefully cultured and standardised to ensure high bioavailability and stability throughout the product's shelf life.
