Aura Herbals Iodine – 90 capsules

Product overview

AURA HERBALS Iodine from Algae is a food supplement that provides a natural source of iodine from PureSea® seaweed, specifically the species Ascophyllum nodosum, harvested from the clean waters around the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. The product comes in plant-based capsules and is supplied in packs of 60, making it easy to incorporate into your daily routine.

The Aura Herbals brand is firmly rooted in combining traditional knowledge with modern production methods. It focuses on sustainability and purity in its products, reflected in its careful selection of raw materials and certifications. Its philosophy centres on offering supplements that are natural, transparent in composition and made with respect for the environment.

Active ingredients & science

The main active ingredient in the product is PureSea® seaweed, a form of Ascophyllum nodosum that is rich in iodine. Each capsule provides 150 micrograms of iodine, equivalent to 100% of the reference intake. The seaweed’s origin in pristine waters is verified through DNA testing and several organic certifications, ensuring a high degree of bioavailability and purity.

Benefits & uses

• Suitable for people who want to supplement their iodine intake from a natural source.
• Suitable for those seeking a vegan, organically certified option.
• Useful in everyday life to help maintain a balanced iodine level, particularly in areas where dietary iodine intake may be insufficient.
• Convenient to take as part of a morning routine, thanks to the simple dosage and plant-based capsules.

The product fits well into a healthy lifestyle that prioritises informed supplement choices, particularly when purity and sustainability are key considerations.

Use & dosage

The recommended dosage is one capsule per day, taken with water. For best results and to make it easier to incorporate into your daily routine, the capsule can be taken with a meal, although this is not required. It is important to follow the dosage instructions on the packaging and not to exceed the recommended daily amount. The product can be combined with other food supplements, but if in doubt, consult a healthcare professional.

Quality & manufacturing

Aura Herbals places great emphasis on quality assurance and transparency throughout the manufacturing process. The PureSea® raw material is certified by several independent organisations, including the Organic Food Federation, Vegan Society and KLBD for kosher certification. The seaweed is harvested with respect for the marine ecosystem and undergoes strict checks, including DNA verification and testing for heavy metals and microbiological contaminants. The products follow the “clean label” principle, meaning that no unnecessary additives are included in the formula. The capsules are made from plant-based cellulose, making the product entirely vegan.
