Description
TEST FERRYTYNA (1 test) home, cassette test for measuring ferritin levels in blood for the diagnosis of anaemia.
INDICATIONS
If you are experiencing general fatigue, pallor of the skin, headaches, brittle hair and nails, as well as breathing problems, our test will provide you with information on whether a low ferritin level may be affecting your overall well-being.
Diagnosing low ferritin levels is very important, as it may indicate iron deficiency and potential anaemia. A positive result indicates a proper ferritin level in the blood (above 30 ng/ml), while a negative result indicates deficiency (below 30 ng/ml). Do not delay and diagnose anaemia using our FERRITIN TEST in just 10 minutes.
INDICATIONS FOR TESTING
chronic fatigue
shortness of breath
heavy menstruation
headaches
concentration problems
weakness of hair and nails: brittleness, hair loss, splitting
cold feet or hands regardless of ambient temperature
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
Anaemia is a decrease in haemoglobin levels and/or red blood cell count below the normal range for age and sex. Among various forms of anaemia, the most common is caused by iron deficiency, affecting up to 30% of the population. Insufficient iron levels can result from various causes, such as poor diet, vegetarianism, malnutrition, impaired absorption (e.g., due to low stomach acid), increased demand (during pregnancy, lactation), prolonged blood loss, or disorders related to insufficient iron transport proteins. Reduced ferritin levels in the body indicate iron deficiency, which is a key element in diagnosing anaemia, monitoring patients taking iron supplements, and detecting liver diseases and cancers. Ferritin testing is especially recommended for at-risk groups such as athletes, children, pregnant women, the elderly, vegans, and those with absorption issues.
